Return Policy

New Items 

We will gladly accept returns on any defective item you receive within 10 days of the purchase date for a full refund or exchange. UNOPENED items may be returned within 10 days for a refund (in the same condition received) less shipping costs. We must be notified within 24 hours of any damaged items. We do not accept returns of any opened items or worn apparel.

If your package arrives with damage to the box, please send us a picture before opening it or we may not issue a refund or credit.

Purchases made at herotrader.com may only be returned through our on-line store. Our retail location will not accept a return of any on-line purchase. Items purchased from our Hero Trader retail location may not be returned on-line.
While we do not grade our graphic novels, books and new magazines, and they are stored and handled with great care, no guarantee of condition is made. Over time, shelf wear and small cosmetic dings and dents may be possible. However, we will not send out any new stock item that appears to be in less than "Very Fine" condition.  
Vintage Items
Due to the nature of vintage comics and merchandise we sell, we only accept returns if we have made a considerable mistake in grading or describing a specific item. Contact us first and let us try to resolve any problem. Please refer to our Grading Guide to see the accepted industry standards that we use.
Please take care when packing the product for return and try to send it back in the packaging you received it in. 
*We regret that we are unable to refund any shipping charges unless the return is a result of our error.

Will I be charged sales tax? 

With the ever changing internet sales tax laws, you may or may not be required to pay sales tax depending on your location. All Florida residents are required to pay Florida sales tax. 

 

Can I use Hero Trader gift cards online?

 Hero Trader Gift Cards may be used at our retail location and our online store. This includes both physical and electronic Gift Cards.

Are all of your products in stock? 

Due to changing availability in our retail location and warehouse, any item ordered online may require more than 2-5 days to fulfill. If an item you purchased is no longer available through our on hand inventory or distributor, you will be refunded. 

Are online prices the same as the retail location? 

New item pricing can and will vary from our retail location prices on many items. For vintage items, our online prices are the same as our retail store. 

Website inventory does not necessarily reflect the inventory of our retail store.

Payments 

You may pay for your online purchases with American Express, Visa, Master Card, and Paypal, and Hero Trader gift cards.

We can not accept payments in cash, check, money order, email, or over the phone. 

Shipping 
We offer two methods of shipping for orders within the USA - First Class (For items under 1 pound) which takes about 7-10 days and Priority Mail, which takes about 1-3 business days for delivery. All of our US orders are shipped via USPS. This also means PO Boxes and APO addresses.

UPS is also an option which may be selected during checkout.

If your order is placed Monday through Friday before 9 A.M. EST, it will ship the same day or next day. 

Please note, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. It is your responsibility to provide a safe and secure address for delivery of your order. 

Pre Orders
We ship preorders after we receive your entire order. If you would like more frequent shipments, simply email us your order number and we will send you an invoice for the additional shipping cost.
