Mid-run clash with the Frightful Four at full strength—Wizard, Sandman, Trapster, and their new Amazon ally Thundra—who storm the Baxter Building to prove they can out-muscle Marvel’s First Family. The attack exploits each FF member’s weakness: Wizard’s grav-tech pins Ben, Trapster glues down Johnny, and Sandman ties up Reed, while Thundra insists on a straight brawl to humble the Thing. Medusa, serving with the FF but once a Frightful member, becomes the emotional pivot; the villains try to pull her back to their side. After a bruising back-and-forth, Reed improvises a counter to Wizard’s gadgets, the team breaks free, and Medusa affirms her loyalty to the FF—leaving Thundra furious and setting up the next round of the feud.
